Bath Time.

(Fan fiction for starfleetspectre. Pairing is Mshenko with her OC Shepard, Rev.)

"Kaidan, wanna grab lunch?" Rev hollered as the door opened to his house. The biotic was enjoying Liara's latest novel when he heard his boyfriend's voice and the sound of their varren, Shock Top, trailing behind him. Smiling, he closed the data pad after marking the section he would later pick back up on.

Kaidan got up from the chair in the living room and at his feet was a dirtied varren who was playing at his feet. Kaidan smiled, petting her tenderly. Who would have thought? The housedog he would one day have would not be a labradore. Not a a German Shepard. Instead, a Krogan hound-alien. "Guess I shouldn't be surprised to see you all dirty, huh girl?' He asked, chuckling. 'Speaking of Shepards..' Kaidan thought to himself, suddenly seeing the brown haired man was standing next to him, and what Kaidan saw caught him off guard.

The man was completely, utterly dirty. It looked like layers upon layers of mud and dirt had just clung to Rev's body. No, Kaidan was beyond suprised, shell shocked was more like it. "Rev? What the HELL?" Kaidan asked, clearly appalled. "Shock and I were just getting in touch with our Tuchanka roots." Kaidan knew of the whole "Honorary Krogan" thing, but he could never have imagine the man being this....this filthy. Hell, his armor looked pristine compared to him. "I don't want to know, just-wait don't sit there!" Kaidan suddenly shouted seeing the other man about to sit down on the sofa. "Don't sit anywhere! Get clean first!" If there was anything Shepard knew from experience that it was in the best interest of both men to do as the biotic instructed.

Practically pushing the commander into the bathroom with Shock Top behind them, Kaidan quickly went to turning the bathtub water flows on. Removing the last piece of clothing on him, Shepard stepped into the vessel of soapy water. "You know, if you just wanted me naked, it takes only-" A grinning Rev's face was suddenly dunked into the cleaning water coming back up gasping. The varren made a sound which they could have sworn sounded like laughter. Looking at Shock Top, Kaidan said firmly, "Think it's funny, huh? Well you're next little lady."

Shock skimpered out of the room with a whine. "Don't you think you're over reacting? Maybe just a little?" Kaidan scoffed as he began to scrub off the next layer of dirt. The entire bathing session took over an hour and a half, at the end Kaidan showed Rev the amounts of filth that were washed from his body that remained after letting the water out. "There was more where that came from." Kaidan reminded. Shepard thought the sight looked like an elkor had taken vast amounts of laxatives and purged himself out all in one go.

"That's... That's fucking nasty." Shepard stated. "That's something coming from someone who has had rachni guts, reaper fluids, and what else is on the list." The residue was finally expelled after cycles of bleaching and washing. "Sorry." Kaidan heard the man apologize and couldn't help but smile a little. After a small kiss, Kaidan announced jokingly, "All right Shock, you're next."
