Songfic Challenge: Jealous.

It was a huge step in their relationship. PDA was something the two spectres had to keep on low key, Alliance regulations and all that bullshit. Now that they both were council spectres, they didn't see anything wrong with holding hands on the Citadel. More dinner dates at Apollo's, dinner dates at finer resturaunts. Making Rev wear his fancy Alliance officer ceremony suit, which the commander hated.


The Presidium was peaceful enough to stay at on shore leave. Purgatory too. But the Silversun Strip, not as much. They'd have to go through a crowd of supporters and admirers in order to get anywhere. Speaking of which, they were giving the casino another try, this time no incognito. Rev remembers Kaidan seeing him in his chocolate tie suit for the first time and the same to the other man. He also remembers what happened when they got back to the apartment.

The first thing they noticed was a familiar woman pacing towards the two women, immediately Rev wanted to walk the other way. It was only until Kaidan saw who it was did he understand. "Commander Shepard! Earth has questions that they need answered!"

Khalisah Al-Jilani. Did this woman have plans to try and cockblock the couple? The two inwardly groaned, Kaidan saw how the other man looked on the holo-vid. "Commander. Major Alenko." The reporter began as the camera flashed on beside her.

"You have announced that you and Major Alenko are in a commited relationship. How exactly have you not been charged for breaking Alliance regulations?" The lady began. "We're both Alliance marines, but we're also Council Spectres. So as far as the Alliance is concerned, there's no issue." Kaidan boldly said, seeing the smirk on the reporter slightly falter. "Commander, rumor also spreads that you have had affairs with many other members of your crew. Is it true that you've been in a relationship with Dr. Liara T'soni? Also other females such as quarian engineer Tali'Zora, and former Cerberus Operative Miranda Lawson? What do-"

"What the fuck? First of all, Kaidan and I have been in a relationship for a long time now. As for these 'rumors', Liara is a friend and a valuable ally. Just as Tali and Miranda. Also, why are you asking this? Get back to focusing on the war." With that the two men walked away as Khalisa did the same but steaming.

Outside, Kaidan raised an eyebrow and asked. "So, you've never thought on the idea when..you know I wasn't on the Normandy during your battle against the Collectors?" Rev sighed and rolled his eyes muttering, 'not you too.' "Are you jealous?" He asked back.

"No, why would I be?" Rev smiled with a kiss to the cheek. "There's your answer."
